The MARINE TERMINAL INDUSTRY provides the most diverse freight exchange in commerce. There is a multitude of choices in size, specialties, and handling equipment.
Marine freight, usually containers, is trucked or trained to the loading pier, placed in a variety of environments (refrigerated, stacked columns, or in the case of vehicles-positioned in a "roll on/roll off" (Ro-Ro) queue). Bulk freight such as petroleum, gases, lumber, ore, and food have a special pier (dock) specifically for their handling equipment.
Marine Terminals can be located in Sea Ports, River Ports, Bay Terminals or off-shore transfer stations. The number and kind and size of Marine Terminals is unlimited.
SEARAILS has, and continues to develop, a variety of choices. (search for marine freight terminals and open your IMAGES tab)
